Standardised aluminium profiles are extruded sections with standardised geometries and dimensions in accordance with European standards, manufactured mainly from 6000 series alloys. Their dimensional accuracy, mechanical strength and lightness make them a versatile solution for applications in structures, machinery, enclosures and industrial systems.
INFORMATION
We have an extensive catalogue of standard profiles with more than 600 references in stock. In addition, our extensive knowledge of the sector allows us to supply countless other references on request. The material usually in stock is extruded with alloy 6060 T66 or 6082 T6 in lengths of 6,050 mm and in a raw manufacturing finish. On request, we can supply profiles in other alloys as well as other lengths or finishes, both anodised and lacquered. We offer a precision cutting service to provide profiles to the final dimensions required by the customer. We also offer the option of supplying the final machined part.
RANGE
Equal and unequal angles: ideal for structural reinforcements, frames and assemblies.
Flat bars: flat bars used in machining, supports and component manufacturing.
Square, rectangular and round tubes: for lightweight structures, ducts, handrails and metal furniture.
U-profiles: used as guides, reinforcements or fastening elements.
T-profiles: for joints, supports and modular structures.
Double T profiles (H or I type): designed to support heavier structural loads.
Pneumatic tubes: with specific tolerances for compressed air systems and industrial automation.
BEHAVIOUR AND MATERIAL SELECTION
6060 alloy profiles can be used to make metal structures and construction elements.
These alloys are also suitable for all products with aesthetic requirements that require an anodised finish.
For applications requiring greater mechanical strength, alloy 6082 can be used. It is also suitable for applications in marine environments, thanks to its good weldability and corrosion resistance.
For manufacturing processes that require bending or folding, it is advisable to use these alloys in T4 condition, as in the usual stock conditions the strength of the profiles generally does not allow for
such bending with guarantees.
In addition to the alloys mentioned above, the following alloys can be supplied on request:
− 1000 series: mainly for electrical applications.
− 6005: as an alloy with intermediate mechanical strength between 6060 and 6082 and with better
extrusion.
− 6061: equivalent to alloy 6082.
− 2017: mainly for machinable flat bars.
− 5000 series: profiles with simple shapes for applications requiring high strength and optimum
corrosion resistance.
− Other alloys in the 2000 and 7000 series for the aeronautical sector.
ACCESSORIES
