The 35×35 extruded aluminium square bar is made of EN AW 2017 alloy. An aluminium alloy belonging to the 2000 family, with copper as the main alloying element.

It is an alloy with high mechanical properties and excellent fatigue resistance. It forms long chips during machining, so it is not recommended for automatic processes. Similar to the EN AW 2024 alloy, which is more common in the American market.
