Aluminium T profile 50x50x5 is made of EN AW 6082 alloy. An aluminium alloy belonging to the 6000 family, with magnesium and silicon as the main alloying elements.
This aluminium alloy is particularly suitable for the manufacture of extruded profiles that require high strength and have a medium-complexity design. Among the commercial alloys commonly used in extruded profiles, it has the best mechanical characteristics, equivalent to the EN AW 6061 alloy commonly used in the American market.
Its extrusion capacity allows the manufacture of profiles with medium complexity and functional designs with high strength. It also has high corrosion resistance.
